Your tournament day, evolved.

Players find their table in seconds, judges handle calls right at the table, and everyone runs on the same clock. Ruloo works alongside the official tournament software you already use.

Free for players and judges. Organizer access comes with any Ruloo Patreon membership.

Type the 6-character code from the venue's sign to see your table. No account needed.

Your Round 1 table appears here as soon as it's imported.

What each person does with it on the day.

Same round, three different jobs.

You run TOM. Ruloo handles everyone waiting on it.

  • Leave Live Sync open on the TOM computer

Chrome or Edge. Every time TOM saves, the new round, byes and late adds come in. You don't touch Ruloo between rounds.

  • Take sign-ups and entry fees before the day

Players preregister with their deck list and pay by card. You get one list of who's coming and who's paid.

  • Catch problems while there's still time

Unchecked deck lists and result reports that don't match show up on the event page.

  • One clock for every judge

The round clock starts from TOM's own start time, so every judge's screen shows the same time left.

Players see tables and records. Penalties and notes stay with your staff.

Things a general bracket app can't do at a Pokémon event.

Ruloo starts from TOM's .tdf, so it already knows your divisions, tables and byes.

Junior, Senior and Masters from one file

Divisions, byes, table numbers and late adds come straight from TOM. TOM stays the record for results and standings.

On the day: Nothing to retype.

Rulings reach the Head Judge in seconds

A penalty logged on one judge's phone shows up on the organizer's dashboard with the round, table and player attached.

On the day: The full penalty log exports as a CSV when you're done.

One QR sign for the whole day

Each newly paired round updates every player's page. The sign you put up before Round 1 still works in Top Cut.

Find table 14 without walking the room

Floor Map (beta) puts every pairing on a map of your venue by TOM table number. Search a table or a player to see who's there, whether they're still playing, and any extra time or penalty.

On the day: Staff only. Players never see it.

Your event, minus the chaos.

TOM still pairs rounds and records results. This is everything around it.

  1. Step 1: Days before

    Open preregistration

With Ruloo: One link for name, Player ID, deck list and entry fee.

  2. Step 2: Doors open

    Import and post the sign

Without Ruloo: A fresh printout every round.

With Ruloo: Live Sync is running and one QR sign is up for the day.

  3. Step 3: Each round

Pairings land on phones as TOM pairs

Without Ruloo: Slips walked to the Head Judge.

With Ruloo: Calls and deck checks are logged where they happen.

  4. Step 4: Between rounds

    See who's clinched

With Ruloo: Standings and the Top Cut prediction (who's clinched, who's on the bubble) update with each import. In Standard events, result reports that disagree are flagged.

  5. Step 5: Top Cut and after

    Close it out

With Ruloo: Mark bracket winners as matches end, then export the penalty log. Event data deletes itself 14 days after the event (120 days for events with online payment) unless you keep it.

Already used at real events.

Using Ruloo not only makes my job as a TO or judge significantly easier, but its efficiency is noticed and is appreciated by my players. By having so many tools easily at my fingertips, many of the frequent tournament hiccups and headaches are either minimized or completely gone.
